A person who falls into an outhouse and dies

A lot of this journal is friends-only. There are some very good reasons for that.
Posting Policy: I generally avoid reading the kind of journal that repeats the mundanity of everyday life ad nauseum. I find it tedious to read - only the closest of friends are interested in that level of detail of other people's lives and frankly there are much better ways of maintaining a close friendship than livejournal.
With that said it would be entirely hypocritical of me to write such a journal. It would also bore me to tears. So I don't. This journal is generally light-hearted and quite silly. It's mainly a distraction from work. There are occasional serious posts about stuff going on in my life that isn't day-to-day but generally, I post fluff. I do try to keep it fairly original though and keep memes to a minimum.
"Friends" Policy: My friends list is no indication of who my friends are. The reason that a person is on my friends list is that I want to read what they have to say. This could mean that they're my most mortal of enemies...
Seriously though, if I've put you on my friends list it's for one or more of the following reasons.
- I know you in real life. This is pretty obvious.
- I know you from elswhere online, or think I do.
- I've read a few of your comments and/or journal entries and like your style...
If I've suddenly appeared on your friend of list and you're completely confused, read this. If that clears things up but you don't want to add me to your friends list please don't feel any pressure to do so. Unless you are a close personal friend I'm not going to be offended.
If you're still completely confused as to why I've added you and you're not comfortable with me listing you as a "friend" then contact me and I will delete you.
